Rooted & Radiant: Day 2

Planted with Purpose

Jeremiah 17: 7-8 - " But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."

Reflection: Being planted with purpose means living with deep spiritual roots, anchored in trust, not Trends. Just like a tree by the water , when our confidence is in God, we're nourished even in dry seasons. We don't just survive, we thrive. Our leaves stay green, our fruit keeps growing, and our faith remains steady even when life feels uncertain. This verse reminds us that purpose isn't about perfection or ease, it;s about positioning. When we're rooted in God's promises, we're resilient. We grow through what we go through. And even when the world feels shaky, our foundation holds firm.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for planting me with purpose. Help e stay rooted in your truth, not swayed by fear or distraction. Nourish my spirit so I can bear fruit in every season, especially the hard ones. May my life reflect your faithfulness and overflow with Grace. - Amen

Thought to Ponder: What does your "stream" look like right now? Are you staying close to the source or drifting toward drought? Today, take one step to deepen your roots: spend time in prayer, read a verse, or encourage someone else. Fruitfulness starts with faithfulness.
