Rooted & Radiant: Day 7

Radiate His Light

“ You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand. and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” - Matthew 5: 14-16

You were never meant to blend in. God designed you to shine, to reflect his love, his truth, and his grace in a world that desperately needs it. Radiating his light doesn't mean being perfect; it means being present, being kind, being bold in faith. Whether you're creating, comforting, or simply showing up, your light matters; don't dim it to fit in. Don't hide it out of fear. You are a beacon of hope, a vessel of glory, and a reminder that God is near.

Prayer: Father, thank you for calling me to be a light in this world. Help me to shine with courage, compassion, and clarity. Let my words and actions reflect your heart. When I feel small or unseen, remind me that you've placed me on purpose. May my life illuminate your goodness and draw others closer to you. - Amen

Thought to Ponder: Who needs your light today, and what might happen if you dared to shine a little brighter?
