Truth Over Feelings

" Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." - John 8:32

Feelings are real, but they aren't always reliable. They shift with circumstances, moods, and memories. Truth, however, is steady. God's word reminds us that freedom doesn't come from emotional validation; it comes from spiritual revelation. When we anchor ourselves in truth, we're no longer held captive by fear, insecurity, or shame. We walk in clarity, confidence, and peace. Choosing truth over feelings isn't denial, it's discipleship.

Prayer: Lord, help me to discern the difference between what I feel and what is true. When emotions rise and cloud my judgement, lead me back to your word. Let your truth be my compass, my comfort, and my confidence. I want to live free, not by what I feel, but by what you say.- Amen
